Rolling Stone has something called "The Nearly Impossible Rock and Roll Quiz". I am embarrassed to say I only got a 27, scoring a big goose-egg on the section for "the 2000's". This is the kind of trivia quiz that people with nothing else in their lives would pass, so I suppose I should be happy.
Give it a try, and let me know how you do.
Note to ER: Johnny Cash is mentioned. And Lillie Langtry.

Cash, I casn see. But Lillie Langtry? Whoa. On to the quiz!
Holy crap. I got 27, too. You should really be embarrassed! LOL.
I guess I haven't been spending enough time in complete musically isolation. I managed an underwhelming 29. Oh well.
In a related story, (for Music Monday) have you heard about the new Who doc "Amazing Journey?" I watched 2/3rds of it last night, and it was just great. Here's a good review -

And the reviewer talks about the amazing moment in the Concert in NYC when the Who reaches that climactic moment in "Won't Get Fooled Again," and the energy of the crowd filled with NYPD, FDNY, and EMS workers gets focused and released. Truly an incredible moment, capturing all the intense emotion of that moment. And I think they are the only band in the world who could do that in that moment.
