Just back from church, where the preacher talked about Jesus saying, "I am the resurrection and the life." Had communion - always a good thing. It's time to rest, as Sunday night is the first day of my work week. Sat and listened to a Schubert Mass this morning, much to the chagrin of my older daughter, who sat impatiently while her father enjoyed some sacred music.
What's your day been like so far, and what are your plans for the rest of it?

I have a faux beer buzz goin' 'cause of a muscle relaxer taken for back pain. Texas Rangers game on the tube. Recliner under my butt. Bleh.
We went to the Artist's Market at the Farmer's Market this morning, then to a couple of open houses and then worked on putting up a fence in our backyard. Now for a couple of big wet drinks and some worship of the great glowing rectangular tube.
Did a quick grocery store run first thing this morning, then spent the rest of the day reading, taking pictures, cooking a pot of beans for my lunches for the week, and just generally piddling around.
Am now my usual Sunday evening routine: laundry at my parents' house. Only Mom's in NYC visiting her sister, so Dad and I are sitting here in the tv room, both of us on the internet on our laptops, trash-talking each other while playing Scrabulous with my sis-in-law (who is in OKC) and one of her nieces (out in NW OK). The niece is rather young, so we're being nice and not playing our best words so she can compete.
