The first time I saw Dream Theater live was on the World Tourbulence Tour 2002, at the Vic Theater in Chicago. They opened their show with "Glass Prison". After the opening bass guitar riff, when Petrucci hit the first chord, I quite literally did not hear it, because it was so loud, my ears shut down until they adjusted to the volume level. I just checked out their website. August 10, 2007, I will be at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago. I feel like such a rookie, as this will be only my third DT show.
