An Experiment

I'm going to test a theory.  I propose that Marshall Art will defend pretty much anything a Republican official says or writes, regardless of its merit.  The test is simple.  All he has to do is read this article at Wonkette and I guarandamntee you he will put something in comments about how this guy in question shouldn't be called a racist dick.  Because we liberals are the real racists.

Is it really a theory? I'd say it is a law. 1) It is observable everywhere, and 2) there isn't really an explanation for the phenomenon.

Well, girls, I don't know why you'd think I'd defend a statement like this. It proves my contention that you project what you want to believe about me. The statement is clearly reprehensible for ANY grown man to say for a variety of reasons.

For example, though there have been enough brought to light about Martin for reasonable people to doubt his character, none of it suggests he'd ever do something as abominable and detestable as engage in homosexual activity. So I don't know where Kincannon could have dug to pull out that shot.

Secondly, the game was actually pretty good. Not great, but it did display a lot of talent from both teams, particularly the quarterbacks. So Kincannon's off the mark there as well.

But I have to assume, since race never came up in the tweet or in an interview Kincannon gave to try and defend this crap, is it just because Martin was a black kid that you think Kincannon's tweet is racist? That would prove the suspicion of the right about lefties to be true, that to disparage any black person for any reason MUST be racism.

So I'm missing it and will need one of you two highly educated boys to explain just what makes the comment racist. In the meantime, I will simply find it disgusting for the choice of words used and the fact that it exploits a dead kid. That's bad enough for me. I don't need to pretend there's racism involved to be repulsed by the tweet.

Now it might be true that the dude is as much a racist as Rob't Byrd was, for all I know. I never heard of him before now. But again, you'll have to explain where the racism is in this tweet. I love to learn.

Also, regarding the Wonkette article, which, like you, Geoffrey, makes wild assumptions that have been refuted regarding the Martin/Zimmerman case, maybe you can clue me in on how he knows Zimmerman is "under-endowed"? That's a good question for you, Geoffrey, since you like to make penis references so often. It must be a leftist thing, which makes me suspect Kincannon is one of those "moderate" Republicans.

You were right, Geoffrey, not that I'm surprised...that's why I didn't bet against you.

Reading Art's comment reminded me of the scene in Caddyshack. "Is the Judge Smail's nephew going to pick his nose? Is he? Is he?" "Oh! Double or nothing on whether he eats it!"

What's your problem, kids? I mean with my comment, as I am well aware of what your problems are. I am convinced that I could have just typed out the Apostle's Creed and your response would have been the same.

I thought I was quite clear that I wasn't about to defend Kincannon's tweet. Re-reading it, it's plain I did not. Indeed, I gave reasons why I thought the tweet was horrible. Yet, you three fools respond as if I did defend it or him. How can that be? I mean as you would explain it. I already know how it can be.

It seems, then, that at least two of you were predicting that I would NOT defend Kincannon's remark. Now I know Geoffie said: "I guarandamntee you he will put something in comments about how this guy in question shouldn't be called a racist dick." (Geoffrey just loves mentioning the male sex organ) But again, I haven't done any such thing. I did ask for your explanation about where the racism came in regarding the tweet in question. Maybe then, if one of you toddlers would do so, I might then have an opinion on whether he should or shouldn't be called a racist whatever.

OR, you could all, like real men, simply admit that you were desperate in your attempt to find a reason to disparage me. But then...
